By the time you receive this newsletter we will be working with others in the Sherman community putting on “Great Days of Service.”  For anything that has been done as many times as we have done this program, some may get tired of hearing about it.  But if you were a recipient of the service of “Great Days” you would not grow tired of this program.

This next week some mothers going through the Health Department Clinic will receive a gift from someone they will never meet.  That is a way of saying, “You are important to us.”  Some family that is at the end of their rope and can’t feed their family will get the needed food…a gift from someone they will never see.  A nursing home resident who feels all alone will be visited…all because you were not tired of “well doing.”  Houses painted and repaired, parks cleaned up, but more importantly, we will feel better about ourselves knowing we have done something…and if we continue to do something, God will bless us and we will pass on those blessings.  Thank you for serving one another.
